The Basilic of the Sacre Coeur is located at the top of the hill of Montmartre. It is a basilic of the Sacre Coeur Jesus. Its construction was decided by the National Assembly in 1873, as a religious building in honor of the memory of French citizens who had lost their lives during the Franco-Prussian War (July 1870 to May 1871. This war was really a war between France and Germany because they were allied to Prussia all German states) was the architect Paul Abadie who won the tender for its construction.
The Eiffel Tower is an iron structure designed by French engineer Gustave Eiffel and his staff for the Universal Exhibition of 1889 in París. They started on January 28 in 1887 and they finished to Built the tower in 2 years, 2 months and 5 days, in March in 1889. Finally with a height of 324m.
The Arc of Triomphe, Napoleon Bonaparte decided to build this after his victory in the Battle of Austerlitz (1805) 'return home under triumphal arches. "It was designed by Jean Chalgrin Arnaud and Jean-Raymond between 1806 and 1836, inspired by the Arc of Titus in Rome, and reaches a height of 49 meters and 45 wide.
The Louvre is France's national museum devoted to the art before impressionism, both fine arts and decorative art. It is one of the largest in the world. Opened on November 8, 1793.
